Bring 2 liters (about 8 cups) of salted water to a boil over high heat in a large pot. Add pasta to the boiling water and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally for a perfect al dente texture. Drain and promptly rinse with cold water. Serve with your favorite sauce.
